Dave took his childhood love of heavy equipment, a strong understanding of customer service developed through 10+ years in the ski business and with his wife, Kody, established Lyons Excavation in 1994. What started as a small, family-owned business has now evolved into a thriving, locally owned company with a dedicated team of over 12 crew members.
We are proud of the great reputation we've built for trust, quality, and excellence in every project we take on. Serving the Bozeman community and the surrounding areas—including Big Sky, Four Corners, Belgrade, Manhattan, Livingston, and areas within a 100-mile radius—we’re committed to providing top-notch excavation services that meet the needs of our clients.
Outside of work, Dave enjoys alpine skiing and participating in watersports on Montana’s beautiful lakes. At Lyons Excavation, we strive to build long-lasting relationships with our clients, and we’re grateful to continue growing through word-of-mouth referrals in our community.
